Dr. Debra KrigerDK_Edit_Headshot-8.jpg

Dr. Debra Kriger (she/her) once got a job by asking to borrow a pound of butter. Her CIHR-funded, arts-based doctoral experiences in physical cultural studies, combined with her background in public health and large repertoire of odd jobs have prepared her well for her applied work putting theory to practice in the field of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging. From valet driving to food service, bartending to conflict resolution, consulting to researching… when pursuing non-academic careers, Debra strongly believes in non-linearity, community care, learning, and people.
